Abstract
Dentro del deporte de la vela ligera existe una técnica determinante del rendimiento: la técnica de sacar cuerpo (TSC). Sin embargo, hoy en día, debido a las dificultades que supone medir este tipo de disciplina deportiva, por el contexto acuático en el que se desarrolla, no hay apenas conocimiento sobre la influencia de características propias de los deportistas como es su perfil antropométrico, su extensibilidad, o su raquis, sobre el rendimiento de dicha técnica. Tampoco se conoce como influye la posición adoptada por los regatistas durante la realización de la TSC ni cómo afecta la misma sobre el rendimiento de la embarcación.
